well I’m back in Spokane, woke up around five this morning to get in town early so that the equipment that I checked out wouldn’t be late. Yea for me the drive was long and boring and I was tired as hell again.
Ok Sunday we went over to the Con around 10:00 ,when it opens, and wondered around there for a while, untell about one where me, logan and Ryan all sat down to the Wil Wheaten Experience, I don’t really remember what it was called. Wil Wheaten played Wesley Crusher on Star Trek the next Generation and is a really big geek, he has a couple books out about being a geek and his blog is pretty famous too. He has also played the voices of Aqualad on teen titans and Cosmic boy on the legion of superhero’s, so I got most of what he was talking about just not the D&D stuff. It was quite entertaining but I couldn’t help feel out of place, I have just become a geek this last two years cus of college, but I was always a little geeky when I was little always watching cartoons and such. But the thing that I found weird was that a lot of people and even Wil himself complained about being picked on at school by the popular kids, or the jocks, I wasn’t popular but I was a damn good athlete back in my day, playing sports year round. I couldn’t help but think any moment the people there were going to find out my past that I was a jock and get out there pitchforks and chase after me, not being able to catch me though. So it felt like a cult slash AA meeting but for geeks. I’m not kidding the first thing that Wil said when he got up there was “hi my name is Wil Wheaten and I’m a geek” every “hi Wil”. Don’t get me wrong though I know I’m a total geek now, I just felt kind of like an outsider because I have just become one, like a new born geek I only have two years under my belt while all the other people have been perfecting there geekkyness for years. Ok here it goes “hi my name is Hammy and I’m a geek that can run like hell” .
Other news on Sunday we went there in the morning for only one thing and that was to see if Robert Kirkman and all the other guys from Invincible were there but they weren’t. So we were on our way out after the Wil Wheaton Experience and long behold there they are, I totally panicked I had to run like three or four blocks to the nearest ATM to get some cash for the fist walking dead trade and the first invincible trade, which I found out soon enough that Walker was the artist for the first one while Ottley was the artist for the rest and Ottley was the one there signing stuff, so I had to by two print and got everone to sing it and I mean all the big honcho people, Robert Kirkman creator/ writer, Ryan Ottley artist, Bill Carbtree inker/ colorist, to sign both the prints and the first trade score right, I also got Robert Kirkman to sing the first walking dead trade that I had ryan go and find while I was in line because I have yet to read it and it looks pretty good, which it was.
Ok that’s all I have to go turn in my pictures to my internship.
Nice note from the set of “sucker punch”

Sounds like you had a fun time at Comicon (sp), although tiring, it seems like it was worth it. :)
